What sizes do the butters come in?
Our butters come in 50g and 100g jars, except the Unscented, which is 50g only. Those numbers are the jar size. Because the butter is whipped and airy, the actual net weight is about half the jar volume.
Do your butters contain nuts?
The Exotic and Mint butters contain sweet almond oil, which is a tree nut. If you're avoiding tree nuts, the Unscented butter is made with apricot kernel oil instead and is tree-nut-free. Always read the full ingredient list and patch test a small area first.
Is there a fragrance-free option?
Yes. The Unscented butter has no fragrance or essential oils at all, just the plant butters and oils. It's a good choice for sensitive skin, or if you simply prefer no scent.
What's actually in them?
Every ingredient is plant-based, and we publish the full INCI list for each product. No synthetic fragrance, no silicones, no fillers. What's on the label is what's in the jar.
How do I use a whipped body butter?
A little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your hands and massage it into clean, dry skin. Because it's concentrated, you won't need much.
Why might the color or scent vary between jars?
Because each jar is made by hand with whole botanicals, you may notice slight differences in color, scent, or texture from one batch to the next. That's normal, and part of how a small-batch product works.
Where do your ingredients come from?
We choose plant-based ingredients from specialist natural-ingredient suppliers. Where our supplier documents the country an ingredient comes from, we share it. You can see it on our traceability map.
Where do you ship, and how much is it?
We ship across the US and Canada. Rates are calculated at checkout based on where you are, and shipping is free on US orders over $70.
When will my order ship?
Whipped body butter is heat-sensitive, so we're careful about how and when it travels. We ship Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed before 12pm on one of those days go out the same day, and anything after our Wednesday cutoff ships the following Monday. That keeps your package moving, about two to three days in transit, and means it never sits in a warehouse over the weekend. Every order goes out with a cold pack, since heat can melt the butter and leave the jar leaky and under-filled.
What if my order arrives melted or damaged?
Because the butter is heat-sensitive, please open and check your order within 12 hours of delivery, and try not to leave it sitting in a hot mailbox, car, or on the porch. If it arrives melted, leaking, or damaged, send us a photo within that window and we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund. If a package is left outside well after it's delivered and melts as a result, that part is unfortunately the customer's responsibility.
Do you accept returns?
For hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns or exchanges once a butter has shipped, the same as most skincare. If something is wrong with your order though, like it arrived melted, damaged, or you received the wrong item, reach out with a photo and we'll sort it out.
How do refunds work?
When we issue a refund, it goes back to your original payment method and covers the cost of the product. The original shipping isn't included. Once it's processed, it usually takes a few business days to show up, depending on your bank.
Can I cancel or change my order?
You can cancel any time before your order ships, just contact us. We're not able to edit an order once it's placed, so if you need something different, cancel and reorder. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout, since reshipments due to an incorrect address are at the customer's cost.
