Welcome to IB2 Skincare. These terms, together with the policies they reference, govern your use of our website and your purchases from us (the "Services"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them — and to our Privacy Policy. We've written them in plain language on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask us at hello@ib2skincare.com.

1. Our products are cosmetics
Everything we sell is intended for external, cosmetic use only. Our products are not medicines: they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Please read the full ingredient list — printed on the product box and shown on every product page — before use, patch test if you have sensitive skin, keep products away from your eyes, and stop using any product that causes irritation. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or are buying for a child, check with a qualified professional first.

2. What "natural" means to us
When we say an ingredient is natural or plant-based, we mean it comes from plants, minerals, or other naturally occurring materials. "Natural" does not mean allergen-free, risk-free, organic, or certified unless we specifically say so for a product. Natural ingredients — tree nut oils and essential oils included — can still cause reactions in some people, which is why the full ingredient list is always published.

3. Handmade means variation
Our products are made by hand in small batches from whole botanicals. Color, scent, and texture can vary slightly between batches — that's the nature of the product, not a defect, and appearance on your screen may differ from the product itself. Products are sold by net weight, which is stated on every label; whipped textures can settle in warm conditions and appear as less volume while the weight stays the same. Photos on the site are illustrative. We may change product descriptions, discontinue products, or limit quantities at any time.

4. Using the site
By using the Services you represent that you are at least the age of majority where you live (or using the site with a parent's or guardian's consent and supervision). You agree that the information you give us — contact, billing, shipping, payment — is accurate, current, and yours to provide, and that you'll keep it up to date. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Purchases are for your own personal or household use, not for commercial resale.

5. Pricing and payment
All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax and shipping are calculated and shown at checkout; unless stated otherwise, posted prices don't include them. Payment is due in full when you place your order and is processed by our payment providers; you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method you provide. Prices, promotions, and availability can change without notice, but changes won't affect an order we've already accepted, except where needed to correct an obvious error. If a promotion has its own terms, those govern the promotion.

6. Orders
Your order is an offer to purchase; our confirmation email accepts it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example for suspected fraud, stock problems, payment failure, or a pricing or description error (including after submission) — and if we've already taken payment for a cancelled order, we'll refund it in full to your original payment method and attempt to notify you using the contact details on the order.

7. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy are part of these terms — they describe our shipping schedule and summer pause, what to do if an order arrives damaged, and how refunds work. Delivery dates are estimates; carrier delays are outside our control.

8. Reviews and things you send us
If you post a review or send us ideas, suggestions, photos, or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display it in connection with our business — for example, showing your review on the site or in our marketing. You confirm the content is yours to share, that it's accurate, and that you've disclosed any compensation or incentive you received in connection with it. Don't post anything false, unlawful, infringing, or abusive; we may remove content that is, and we're not obligated to keep submissions confidential, compensate you for them, or respond to them.

9. Our content
The text, photographs, product names, logo, and designs on this site belong to IB2 Skincare or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms let you use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You're welcome to share links; please don't copy, republish, or commercially use our content without written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Acceptable use
Use the Services only for lawful purposes. Don't: violate any law or these terms; infringe anyone's rights; transmit false or misleading information; harass or harm anyone; impersonate any person; send spam; upload viruses or malicious code; scrape, crawl, or harvest data or personal information; resell or exploit any part of the Services; or interfere with the Services' operation or security. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

11. Third-party tools and links
The Services may include tools, embedded features, or links provided by third parties (for example, payment or review platforms). We don't control third-party sites or tools and provide access to them "as is," without endorsement or warranty. Your use of them is at your own discretion — review their terms and policies, and direct concerns about third-party products or services to the third party.

12. Our relationship with Shopify
Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with IB2 Skincare. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and IB2 Skincare, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services, and you release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with us.

13. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The site and products are provided in good faith, but the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our family, contractors, and service providers, and Shopify and its affiliates) are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages — including lost profits or data — and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law says cannot be waived — including any rights you have under California law.

14. Indemnity
If your breach of these terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of the Services causes a claim against us or Shopify, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from the losses that conduct causes, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

15. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Services at any time if these terms are violated; you remain responsible for amounts owed through that date. Sections that by their nature should survive — including content licenses, disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive termination.

16. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with our business. Headings are for convenience only. These terms plus our posted policies are the entire agreement between us about the shop, superseding prior versions. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; the version posted when you order is the one that applies to that order, and continued use of the Services after changes post constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California, and both of us consent to venue and personal jurisdiction there, except where the law gives you the right to a different venue.
