Theobroma grandiflorum
A soft, velvety butter pressed from the seeds of the cupuaçu, an Amazonian fruit tree related to cacao.
What it does Rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids plus plant sterols that leave skin feeling smooth and conditioned. It's the base of all our butters.
Butyrospermum parkii
Butter from the nut of the West African shea tree, used for generations to nourish skin.
What it does Forms a conditioning layer that helps skin hold onto moisture for a lasting soft feel.
Astrocaryum tucuma
A golden butter from the seed of an Amazonian palm, traditionally used to protect skin from sun and heat.
What it does Adds body and a light, satiny feel to the whip while conditioning the skin's surface.
Theobroma cacao
A classic, rich butter pressed from roasted cocoa beans.
What it does Its balanced fatty acids form a protective surface layer that helps lock in moisture and limit water loss.
Prunus amygdalus dulcis
A gentle, nourishing oil pressed from sweet almonds. We use it in the Exotic and Mint butters.
What it does Naturally carries vitamin E, giving it antioxidant character and a smooth, conditioning feel. A tree-nut oil.
Prunus armeniaca
A light, fast-absorbing oil from the apricot seed. It's our tree-nut-free option, used in the Unscented butter.
What it does A gentle, lighter-feeling oil that conditions skin and absorbs to a silky, non-tacky finish. Carries natural vitamin E and a soft, supple after-feel.
Simmondsia chinensis
A lightweight liquid wax from the desert jojoba shrub, remarkably close to skin's own oils.
What it does Chemically a liquid wax, close to skin's own sebum, so it conditions while feeling light and breathable. One of the more pore-friendly oils in the blend.
Olea europaea
A featherlight emollient derived from olives.
What it does A skin-identical lipid (squalane is naturally part of our own skin), so it absorbs fast and feels weightless. Lightweight and pore-friendly, it offsets the richness of the butters without any greasy finish.
Pogostemon cablin
A warm, earthy essential oil distilled from the leaves of a tropical herb. It's part of the Exotic scent.
What it does Deep, earthy, woody base note. It anchors the blend, slowing the brighter top notes so the scent lasts, and adds a warm, grounding depth. Used only in trace amounts.
Cananga odorata
A soft, floral essential oil from the curling blossoms of the ylang-ylang tree. Another note in the Exotic scent.
What it does A rich, sweet floral heart note that adds a soft, calming roundness to the blend.
Citrus sinensis
A bright essential oil pressed from orange peel, used in the Exotic butter.
What it does A bright, sweet citrus top note that lifts the blend with a fresh, cheerful opening.
Mentha piperita
A cooling essential oil steam-distilled from peppermint leaves, used in the Mint butter.
What it does A sharp, fresh mint top note that gives the Mint butter its clean, cooling aroma.
Vanilla planifolia
A warm, soft extract from cured vanilla pods, used in the Mint butter.
What it does A warm, sweet, comforting base note that softens and rounds the brighter mint and citrus.
Each jar is whipped, poured, and labeled by hand, in small batches. Nothing is automated, and you can feel that in the texture.
